The cost of deliveries should not be our health!

Giant warehouses owned by the world’s largest, most profitable corporations are popping up across our neighborhoods, including the Bronx, Hunts Point, and Red Hook, and causing thousands of truck trips that spew deadly diesel pollution into our communities.

Over 5 million New Yorkers live within half a mile of a warehouse. Many of the state and federal clean truck standards that would’ve accelerated New York’s transition to cleaner diesel trucks and zero-emission trucks are in limbo and unable to be enforced.

Now it is up to New York City and State leaders to protect our health and take action to limit the pollution impact of warehouses in our communities. The best way they can do this is by requiring qualifying warehouses to report their pollution and develop a flexible plan to cut their pollution through a menu of options.
